Jackrabbits

This white-tailed jackrabbit lives in Princes Park, and he has a buddy that lives around the car park just down the street from us. He was chewing on a leaf for dinner when I disturbed him.

Do they have jack-a-lopes in Canada?

I would expect to find them since both the jackrabbit and the antelope can be found in these parts but I've seen no sign of them to date. I did a quick search on the Alberta Fish and Wildlife site but could find no mention. Perhaps they have disappeared and could be reintroduced?
