Fallen Tree

Trees that fall in cold water lakes can last a very long time so I don't know how long this one has been here.  It was cold and messy today with a fair amount of rain at times.  Here at Vermillion Lake I did see a beaver, a bald eagle, a herd of elk, and for the first time an elk calf as dusk fell.  Teresa and David saw a grizzly just over into British Columbia but I didn't really stop due to the bear jam that seemed to be forming.
