Dance to Commemorate Hail Storm in Kingwood, Texas

To commemorate the hail storm in Kingwood I have made up a dance which I do in my garage from time to time whenever I feel the story is worth retelling. The snowman reminds me of the cold hail and the dour mask with me falling to my knees shows the pain of being hit in the shins by ricochet'd ice.

What does the bycycle tire, wooden stool and phone jack with wire coming out bring to the party? _Stu

The wheel is symbolic of the circle of life, while the wooden stool represents a refuge in this hectic modern existence that we all wish to escape to. The wire belongs to the safety circuit that senses obstructions and stops the garage door if you attempt to walk under it while closing. It represents the wires that must be loose for someone to walk out in a hail storm when quarter sized hail is falling.

That stool has been in our family for years. Wonderful photography by Teresa, I might add.

If I remember correctly, I made that stool for the treehouse I put in the back of the house in Corpus Christi. I made it out of scrap and painted it with left over house paint. It is patterned after the green stool that my Dad and I made as a project when I was a cub scout. Still have that too...
